Inferonasal quadrant placement is preferred because of following reasons : 1. Ease of surgical access 2. Improved cosmesis 3. Decreased risk of diplopia 4. Access for laser suturolysis in nonvalved GDD 5. Less risk of Optic Nerve damage

Though not a Glaucoma surgeon, asking the following out of inquisitiveness
Recently I witnessed a Glaucoma surgeon being not happy with the fluid flow through the Ahmed Glaucoma Valve(AGV) during priming in a live surgery demonstration. Will our Glaucoma experts enlighten us on:
- Issues relating to AGV priming
- What is the ideal priming
- Consistency of the device
- Your own experience
